Uncertainty regarding diagnosis Discussion
Uncertainty regarding diagnosis: Currently, there is an unavoidable amount
of uncertainty regarding the patient's diagnosis. Also, current physical
measurements of sensibility, strength and range of motion can be quite
accurate and reproducible, yet not correlate well with a person's global
function, activities of daily living, and ability to work. To the degree
that both the patient's true diagnosis and its ultimate impact on their
life are uncertain, the final outcome of any management is less
predictable.
